If you are not already a member then we hope you will decide to join us. The more members we have, the more effective our voice will be with those who make decisions and influence the future of Cobham & Downside.

All members receive the CDRA newsletters twice yearly and are invited to our spring and autumn public meetings. We also email our members with occasional bulletins and alerts about significant issues provided we have their email address. We have a notice board in Hollyhedge Road, on the side wall of Ellis & Thompson Opticians.

Membership of the CDRA costs just £5.00 per household per year.

We send out annual renewal notices with our spring newsletter and if you forget to renew then we send a reminder with our autumn newsletter.

To join or renew your membership with Cobham & Downside Residents' Association please make your cheque payable to "CDRA" and send it, with your name, address, phone number and email address, to:  CDRA Membership, 32 Freelands Road, Cobham, Surrey KT11 2ND. Let us know if you would like to be sent a receipt.

To get in touch please use the 'contact us' button on the right hand side near the menu bar. If you are on a mobile device this button may not appear so go to the contact us section of our About Us page.

Data Protection

We ask for your personal data, solely for use by the CDRA, for membership administration and for distribution of CDRA newsletters, bulletins and any other communications we have with you. By giving us your data you agree to this.

Here are some details of what we do with the data you give us about yourself. This information was correct as at Jul 2018.

Our Membership Secretary enters your name, address and email address into our membership spreadsheet and keeps the paper membership forms. There is space on our membership form for your phone number but we only use this if we have a query about the details you’ve provided on the form (some of the writing can be tricky) and we don’t record it on the computer.

The membership list is used by our Membership Secretary and Treasurer for the administration of the subscriptions and by the Secretary and the committee member responsible for the newsletter, for addressing newsletters and sending renewal reminders. Email addresses, but no other details, are loaded into an on-line system, currently Mailchimp. We use this to address emails to members. A printed list of members is produced for use on the membership desk at our AGM and Half-Yearly Meeting.

If you don’t wish us to have your details on our computer file, please let us know.
